One kitchen, one family, one island
We had been visiting Kythnos for our summer holidays every single year, for more than twenty years. Even though we had no roots here, our deep desire to connect with this island led us to open our very own "home" just outside Dryopida, on the Merichas-Kythnos provincial road. Mamas Coffee and Meals is a purely family affair, a warm place filled to the brim with our love and passion. Every morning, our coffee machines hum to life, and our counter is piled high with freshly baked pies, sandwiches, and sweet treats. By noon, the kitchen fills with the rich aromas of Greece. You won’t find any set, rigid menus here. We cook traditional, homemade dishes daily using pure ingredients and old family recipes—and, truth be told, the menu changes with the season and Mama’s mood. Instead of a typical restaurant dining room, you will find a beautiful, elevated outdoor seating area with cozy couches and panoramic views, nestled in a spot where the wind softens even when it’s blowing hard everywhere else, offering absolute relaxation. And if you are in a hurry for a dive, all our food is carefully packed to-go, ready to travel with you all the way to the water's edge of the next beach.
